Credit card refunds

We must have the returned item before we can issue a credit. All credits will be placed on the credit card used for the original purchase. Allow 1-2 billing cycles for the credit to appear on your statement.

Paying by check

When submitting an order form, please call our store if paying by check. We utilize a telecheck system and it may require a license # to process. This will speed turnaround on your order. It works like a credit card and transfers the funds into the account within 48 hours. That way we are not holding the check for 10 business days and delaying shipping the product. Turn around is much faster on those orders.

Return Policy

Your satisfaction with our product is guaranteed. If you are not satisfied with your purchase, please call us at 1-800-551-1422, fax us at 207-725-5514 or email us at sales@villagecandlefactorystore.com

Burned candles cannot be returned.

If there is a problem with an item received, PLEASE RETURN IT TO THE BOX AND CALL US WITHIN 10 BUSINESS DAYS. DO NOT throw item(s) or original packing out. It is necessary that you retain the item(s) to be returned so that we may assess it for Quality Assurance.

When calling about your purchase, please have the following information available:

Purchasing Source: Internet, Mail Order or Fax
Description of item: Fragrance, Jar Size, etc.
Date of Purchase
Invoice Number
Indicate credit card credit or exchange

Note: Items purchased from a Retail store (i.e. not via online, mail order, or fax) must be returned to the store where it was purchased. We do not accept returns for purchases from other Retail Stores.

Security

Protecting your order information is a priority. We make every effort to protect your online order information by utilizing high quality, secure eCommerce solutions. If you are using a browser version 4.x or higher, all information that you submit during the ordering process will be automatically encrypted for security. The information you provide while placing your online order, including your credit card number, is secure; it cannot be read or tampered with during transmission. To check the security of your on-line order connection, you can look at the lower panel of your browser window -- if you see an unbroken key or a closed lock (depending upon your browser), then SSL is active. Also, when accessing a secure server, the first characters of the site address typically will be "https".

Shipping/Order Fulfillment

Following credit card approval (we utilize the Address Verification System, so please make sure your billing address is accurate when ordering), a standard order will be processed within 24-48 hours (Monday through Friday, not including holidays). However, all orders are subject to review and verification. Orders are subject to cancellation without notice. All deliveries are shipped by business days. Please allow up to two weeks for delivery of items in stock.

We ship via UPS, Fedex and USPS. Please note that UPS & Fedex do not ship to PO Boxes. Shipping charges are listed below. A valid telephone number is required for all orders. For more than one shipping address, there is $8.95 standard handling charge for each additional address. A $10.00 fee will be applied to your account if you reroute a package without our athorization. A signature is required for all deliveries.

Overnight delivery and special requests
For overnight delivery, 2nd day or 3rd air, please call for pricing. An overnight order will be shipped the same business day on a "best effort" basis, if the order is placed by telephone and is received no later than 12 noon EST and credit card authorization is obtained within this same time.
